1. We can prevent coronavirus infection through bathing in hot water
This is a rumor. The normal human body temperature is around 37C. It does not matter how much hot water you bath in. But if the water is too hot, you will certainly burn your body.
2. We can prevent coronavirus infection by spraying alcohol on our body
This is a rumor. The virus enters your body via mouth, nose and eyes. So it is no use spraying alcohol on your whole body. Instead, clean your hands with alcohol-based sanitizer or wash them with soap and water. And keep a distance from anyone coughing or sneezing.
3. Drinking alcohol can kill coronavirus
This is a rumor. World Health Organisation (WHO) has not said anything about the link between alcohol consumption and coronavirus. Instead, the WHO said: Spraying alcohol or chlorine all over your body will not kill viruses that have already entered your body. In fact, evidence suggests that drinking alcohol weakens your immunity. So, consuming alcohol will cause more harm than good
4. Non-veg and egg can cause coronavirus infection
This is a rumor. There is no proof that it is spreading via non-veg consumption. It is spreading via human to human contact directly or indirectly.
5. Pets can cause coronavirus infection
This is somewhat true. World Health Organisation (WHO) has not said anything about pet sickness and spread between them and their owners. But, there is one way you can get infected. If there is a virus on your pet's body and you forget to wash your hands after touching it.
